How do I make a booking?

You may make a booking by clicking the following button:

Can I reserve now and pay on a later date?

No, full payment must be made upfront for the booking to be confirmed.

What are the payment options available?

Payments can be made via major credit cards, bank transfer, paynow or cheque.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations at least 60 Calendar days prior to the event date will be entitled to a 90% refund.

Cancellations between 31-59 Calendar days, will only entitled to 50% refund. Any cancellation within 30 Calendar days as well as any no shows will not be entitled to any refund.

Can I change the date of my booking?

All bookings may be brought forward subject to availability. Bookings may only be postponed if request is made at least 60 calendar days prior to event date.

What is the minimum booking duration?

The minimum booking duration is 1 hour.

What is the maximum booking duration?

The maximum booking duration is 120 hours.

When should I make the booking for my event?

It is recommended for bookings to be made at least 2 months in advance to avoid disappointment.

Can I extend my booking?

Extensions would be charged at the prevailing hourly booking rates. Extensions made during the event will be charged at $150 per hour, subject to availability.

Can I have additional setup time?

All bookings are entitled to 30 minutes of setup time. All guests are expected to leave on time or there will be additional charges.

Do you provide food catering?

Yes, we have a partner caterer providing exclusive discounts only for customers at Urban Tavern venues.

Can I engage an external vendor for catering?

Yes, you may exchange external caterers at no additional cost. Please ensure that the vendor clears their set-up before the end of your booking.

Are there charges for bringing alcoholic beverages?

No, there are no charges for bringing any beverages.

Can I engage vendors for live stations, steamboat, or cooking classes?

Yes, as long as there is no fire/flame involved.

Can I bring in a bouncy castle?

Yes, you may. It is recommended that you take proper measurements prior to bringing it in.

Do you provide dessert table?

Yes, we provide an empty dessert table, 6ft by 2.5ft. You may choose to decorate it on your own or engage external vendors to do it.

Can I put up decorations in the venue?

Yes, you may put up your own decorations, but you must remove them before your event ends. Any damage to walls, paint or furniture caused by these decorations would be charged accordingly.

How do I enter and leave the venue?

Access code to enter the venue will be sent to you via email, exactly 48 hours prior to your event. All instructions will also be sent to you via email.

Do I have to pay to use the facilities in the venue?

No, all facilities are free to usage, with the exception of claw machines.

Will there be any staff on duty during my event?

No, you will be entitled to quiet enjoyment of the venue with no staff on the premise.

How do I use the facilities in the venue?

There will be a user guide sent to you via email.

What if the facilities are faulty?

We have a 24-hour support hotline you may contact for assistance. 

Are there speakers provided in the venue?

Yes, we provide speakers in all our venues and you may connect to the speaker using the AUX cable provided.

Is there a refrigerator in the venue?

Yes, we provide a refrigerator in all our venues.

Can we move the furniture in the venue?

Yes, you may move the furniture in the venue, but they must be moved back to the original position before the end of your event. Any damages caused during moving will be charged accordingly. Manpower charges will apply if furniture is not returned to the original position.

Are there parking lots available near the venue?

Yes, all our venues are surrounded by public carparks. Parking charges will apply.

How do I use the projector in the venue?

You may connect to the projector via the HDMI cable provided.

Can I connect my laptop to the TV screen?

Yes, you may connect your laptop to the TV screen using the HDMI cable provided.

Are pets allowed in the venue?

Pets are not allowed in the venue. Exceptions may be granted on a case by case basis.
